QuizWizards secures Enterprise Ireland investment through the HPSU programme
QuizWizards has secured Enterprise Ireland investment through its High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) programme, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth.
Announced in December 2024, the support builds on investment received earlier in the year and will help QuizWizards develop its fan engagement platform and pursue opportunities in international markets.

Enterprise Ireland investment supports international growth
QuizWizards was included in a group of 18 start-ups approved for a combined €3.55 million in Enterprise Ireland funding in November 2024. Eleven companies were approved under the HPSU programme, with seven supported through the separate Pre-Seed Start Fund.
The announcement, covered by RTÉ Business, highlighted companies across sectors including digital education, gaming, healthtech and fintech. The €3.55 million is the combined funding approved for the group.
For QuizWizards, HPSU support is an opportunity to build on the progress made to date and prepare for the next stage of growth. Enterprise Ireland’s programme supports ambitious Irish companies with the potential to scale internationally.
Building connections between fans and brands
Founded by Rory McEvoy, QuizWizards creates interactive experiences for sports organisations, media companies, brands and event organisers. Its platform brings quizzes, predictions, voting and surveys into the places where audiences already engage with content.
The aim is to give people an active role in the experience, while helping organisers understand their audiences and create new opportunities for sponsorship and brand engagement.
The investment supports that ambition as QuizWizards looks ahead to 2025, with a focus on developing the business and reaching more clients internationally.
A milestone built on support
Founder Rory McEvoy said:
“This is such a meaningful milestone, building on investment we received earlier this year and giving us the opportunity to accelerate our growth and scale on a global level.”
Rory also thanked Keith Brock, QuizWizards’ Enterprise Ireland Development Adviser, for his belief in the business and his support throughout the journey.
