QuizWizards becomes Guinness Enterprise Centre’s 1,500th resident start-up

QuizWizards has been welcomed as the Guinness Enterprise Centre’s 1,500th resident start-up, marking a milestone for both the company and one of Ireland’s best-known homes for growing businesses.

The announcement, featured by RTÉ, ThinkBusiness and Business Plus on 19 August 2025, puts QuizWizards at the centre of a story celebrating 25 years of support for Ireland’s start-up community.

A new chapter at the Guinness Enterprise Centre

Based in The Liberties, Dublin 8, the GEC provides workspace, facilities and a network of fellow founders and businesses. At the time of the announcement, it was home to 160 resident companies.

For QuizWizards, that community offers more than an office. It means access to support, opportunities to meet potential partners and the flexibility to expand our space as the team grows.

Founder and CEO Rory McEvoy welcomed the milestone in his LinkedIn post:

“It’s a brilliant milestone for the GEC which has backed over 1,500 companies and helped shape Ireland’s start-up story.”

A home for our next stage of growth

The move supports QuizWizards’ development as a Fan Engagement Platform, helping sports organisations, brands and event teams bring their audiences into the experience through interactive games.

The press coverage also highlighted our work with Leinster Rugby, reflecting the growing role of QuizWizards in matchday and digital fan engagement.

A special thank you to Niamh Collins, Centre Director at the Guinness Enterprise Centre, and the wider GEC team for their welcome and support. As Niamh told RTÉ, “QuizWizards exemplifies the innovation and energy that we see in the Guinness Enterprise Centre every day.”

And, as Rory said in his announcement, the door is open for a chat and a coffee if you are in the area.
